Mikey Blaze & Missouri hospitality

Many of you know that I've reunited with my girlfriend from way back, got her pregnant and moved back to Virginia Beach with her.
Along the drive back, I stopped in Rolla, Missouri and spent more than a week with Mikey Blaze... I actually only spent one day at Mikey's and a week with his mom at her incredible country home buried in the beautiful mountains of Missouri.
Those that know me know that I'm usually not short of words to express what I'm thinking. But I have trouble finding the right way to describe what a fantastic stay I had in a state about which I have been very misled.
Mikey was everything I thought he would be. And Mikey's mom? There is no one better! She made Lisa and I so comfortable, so welcomed... and so well fed, we will never... ever, ever, ever.... ever ever forget her.
Unfortunately, my Rottweiler, Kyana, had to be put to sleep while we stayed with her and she let us bury her on the hill side overlooking her pasture with two horses and a beautiful pond.
I will never be able to thank Mikey and his mom enough for such a great stay. I wish I could move in with him and never leave. I have, however, serious doubts that he would feel the same. So alas, I had to leave... but regrettably.
I love Mikey... and I love Missouri. Anyone who talks bad about either will get cyber slapped in the face by me.
